Dancing For Life

Hi everyone! It’s Neal The Crazy Inventor. This week’s lesson is the first in a series of videos that I am presenting on my YouTube channel. The series is called Teach Them The Game. It is all about passing wisdom on to my grandkids and the youth of this world that I have learned from older people during my life. The series covers everything from dancing and it’s benefits to taking care of your feet as you grow older. Read the story and then take a listen to some of the other videos in this series on my Neal-The Crazy Inventor YouTube channel. Everything I do is to prove to you that You Are Amazing!

Now for this week’s lesson:

Ever since I was a young boy one of the things I tried to do was to learn from the elderly. I have learned so much, it is incredible. Now that I am in my sixties I would like to pass some of this wisdom on to my grandkids and the youth all over the world.

Most of it is very simple. They are things that make all the difference as we grow old, but without making a conscious effort of observing and copying, most people never catch on. So for this blog, I would like to pass on something I learned from an 80-year-old man many years ago.

As we grow older, we gradually lose our ability to maintain our balance. The reason for that is not just the balance mechanism that is in your ears, but it is also the strength in your legs and the rest of your body. This 80-year-old man gave me a simple solution. Dance. Simply put on some music in your own living room and spin around, dance and enjoy yourself. Make sure you stand on one foot from time to time. Shake your head around and force your head to continue finding that balance spot. I can’t think of a simpler more fun way of accomplishing balance and it was passed on to me and I now have passed it on to you. You’re Amazing And I’ll Prove it!

In my book, You’re Amazing And I’ll Prove It!, the reader answers questions at the end of each story and discovers for themself that they are as amazing as any other spirit on this planet. No better, but every bit as good as any other spirit. Once the reader understands that they are amazing, the only thing left for them to do to have true happiness is to find their passion.

If you are not doing what is your passion, you are living in an alternate reality. Every second that you live outside of your passion feels like a lifetime of misery. In You’re Amazing we stress how important it is that you find your passion. For this reason, we have a section in You’re Amazing And I’ll Prove It! that shows you one of the ways to find your passion and help in your journey to find your purpose in life.
