Hello. I apologize for not being in touch last week. As you know we are working on a special offer with the new title of The Doorway – To Finding Your Purpose In Life. Time just got away from us with everything we have had to do.

Hope everyone is well and we are so glad that we don’t have to wear our masks now that we are fully vaccinated. It is wonderful. Enjoy this beautiful weather!

Now for this week’s story:

Remember, my message is people are good. I know this to be a fact. So as an inventor the question is – Why are people making different decisions, standing in different positions when we are all good and want good for the other person? The answer that my life has taught me is that it all boils down to communication and the willingness to at least consider the other person’s point of view.

I met with a man who has recently become a friend of mine. This man is a very good man. However, at this meeting it became apparent that he thought we were on opposite ends of the political spectrum. I told him that I didn’t think so. I continued with what I was saying to him. I told him I would bet him that we stand closer to the same position than he would think.

In order for me to prove this he would at least have to listen and consider my point of view. He said, point of view on what? I said why don’t we pick a very difficult subject. I said how about Abortion? I said you think we are on opposite ends of the spectrum. I say we’re not. I say we’re much closer than you think. I told him that there was film that certainly indicated that they are performing infanticide. The baby is born and they literally kill it. He informed me that he didn’t think it was happening.

I  then asked him where do you think it’s okay for the abortion to be performed? He informed me that he’s not sure when you call the fetus a human being. I asked him do you think it’s a human being at four months when it’s sucking it’s thumb? He said absolutely. I said, do you see what just happened? Everybody’s jumping up and down talking about this infanticide. We are all arguing about whether it’s happening or not and yet neither one of us support it.

So instead of nine months plus a few minutes, we’ve already agreed that an abortion shouldn’t be performed after 4 months. I then continued talking to him and describing different things that happen in the womb at three months and basically he agreed if that is what’s happening, that is a human.

So again, we are even getting closer to agreeing. I informed him that I honestly didn’t know for sure where I stood, but I’ll guarantee it’s not past 3 months. I informed him that if Mom and Dad get together one night and they get pregnant, in the first day or so, I can certainly tolerate it. But at this point, look at us, we’re getting really close.

Listen to one another and ask questions. Never attack. We all want good for the other person and we stand much closer as a people than we think.
