I don’t know how many people know this. When You’re Amazing first got started I had no idea what the book was about. I thought it was a little childrens’ book. Then even when I finished it, I still wasn’t sure what the book was about. I thought it was about accepting other people. When my lady and I had our preliminary readers read it, our preliminary readers informed us what the book was about. They informed us that it was a book about accepting yourself.

Linda and I had an absolutely fantastic time teaching the class at Barnes & Noble in Kingston, NY on Saturday. We want to thank everyone that came and participated in the discussions about how we can go about spreading the message of You’re Amazing And I’ll Prove It! For those of you that are new to this blog, I will reiterate what the message is. To put it in a nutshell, everyone on this planet is absolutely spectacular and brings something unique and special to this world, there are no throw-away people.

This past week Linda and I went out to put up flyers announcing our workshop on June 8th at the Kingston Barnes & Noble. Linda (my lady) spent today contacting as many parent groups as she possibly could via email and we have some really great responses coming back to us! Self-acceptance and accepting the people around you seems to be something that we as humans are moving towards rapidly and we are joining one another in order to accomplish it.

I don’t want this blog to just be about what I am doing. I wanted to tell you stories of events that occurred in my life and what I learned from them. As I said in my first blog I would share stories and what I learned from those stories and I hope that you will share your stories with me.

Hello everyone. My name is Neal G. Brownell. I prefer just Neal, but I use my full name because that is what is on the cover of my recently published book – You’re Amazing And I’ll Prove It!  and it is how to find me on social media. It is my first book and it is an educational/motivational book. Our main audience is tweens, parents, grandparents, step-parents, and teachers, but individuals from the age of 9 to 99 can benefit from the message of this book.
