SCIENCE VS. GOD

I would like to apologize for being a day late with the blog. We are so far from tech savvy at this part of our journey, that it’s common that we run into problems. We apologize for that. Thanks for going along on this journey with us.

We are running our FREE life-changing book bundle giveaway on www.youreamazingandillproveit.com until January 31. If you haven’t entered yet, ENTER NOW to receive an autographed copy of You’re Amazing And I’ll Prove It! along with a Knowledge Is Freedom Publishing t-shirt.

We are talking to several organizations that we met with this week about teaching our You’re Amazing class. We ask for all your good thoughts that we are able to link up with these organizations in order to help our young teens learn how incredible they are.

Now for this week’s cliff-hanger:

In a previous blog I spoke of a speech I gave awhile back entitled Science vs God – Can They Coexist. My lady Linda and I are starting a YouTube channel. Although we already have a couple of short videos posted we have decided to make our first meaningful video Science vs God. We should be posting it within the next day or so. I love this speech because it sparks so many discussions on an extremely important subject that we tend to avoid. If we don’t even talk about how we feel about both Science along with God (I call it the spirit world), how are we ever going to come together as a people. To give you an idea of how I present Science vs God, I am going to put the first part of the speech below.

SCIENCE VS GOD – CAN THEY COEXIST!

In 1972 NASA launched the first spacecraft designed to probe space deep into our solar system – Pioneer 10.

As you know our ability to mathematically predict where our spacecrafts will be is incredibly precise.

However, by 1980, just 8 years after the launch of Pioneer 10, scientists discovered the spacecraft was not where it was supposed to be. Not only was it short of where the scientists’ math had said it should be, but it was also slowing down.

Space was given the name “space” because it was thought to be empty. Scientists literally thought it was space. The dictionary definition of space is, “a continuous area or expanse which is free, available, or unoccupied.”

However, Pioneer 10 was hitting something in space.

I am not a religious man, but I am a spiritual man. I believe there is a higher power. I also believe in science.

So, the question I have is, can science and a person’s belief system coexist?

When I was a young boy, I was taught that there is a god and that god has five major characteristics.

1.        God is omnipresent – meaning god is everywhere at all times.

2.        God is omniscient – meaning god is all knowing.

3.        God is eternal ….

The way that this speech unfolds is really cool. If you get a chance, check it out on YouTube at Neal G. Brownell. As always, You’re Amazing And I’ll Prove It! and the speech Science vs God is one of many, many ways that I can prove to you that you are AMAZING!

As always, I welcome your comments and stories. If you would like to follow my blog, please click on the plus (+) sign in the upper left-hand corner of this page. See you next week!
