One of the things that I have always been able to do is to see value in other people. Because of this when I was a young boy I liked to hang out with older people. I figured that they had wisdom that comes with time and I could save time by learning this wisdom from them. The reason I am writing this blog series, Learn The Game of Life, is to pass on some of the knowledge I have accumulated during my 62 years to everyone.

Cigarettes – Learn How Easy it is to Never Start Smoking – One of the things I learned from older people is to never start smoking. The way I learned this was for me to actually go around to older smokers. I asked them “if you could do life over would you start smoking again”? Over a number of years, during my youth, I must have asked hundreds of older smokers. Every last one of them, without hesitation said “NO!” So I figured if they wished they never started smoking and would not do it again, why should I start.

When I became a father I taught this lesson to my kids as well.

I am also told that cigarettes are the number one drug kids try first. If they never start smoking most kids never use illegal drugs.
