I hope that you all had an awesome Thanksgiving visiting with family and friends and eating too much. As I have told you, I have been speaking in front of our local school board (some of the speeches are on my Neal Brownell The Crazy Inventor YouTube channel). Since we just had Thanksgiving, I thought I would talk to you about my latest school board speech which was about, you guessed it, Thanksgiving. The title on YouTube for this speech is Grandfather Reveals Lies Schools Are Teaching About Thanksgiving to School Board.
I gave this speech off the top of my head since it was a story I have told often. I learned not too long ago that 15 years ago my son was taught in school that we celebrate Thanksgiving because we murdered people. I couldn’t believe it and then my grandson chimed in that he was taught that also. Well that is the Thanksgiving lie that the schools are teaching.
The true story is that human beings worked together, had a bountiful harvest and came together to celebrate this for a 3 day party. At the end of my speeches, I tell the school board that I know they are good people, but they need to teach the truth and as Abraham Lincoln said, come back to the principles of this great nation. As I told you I celebrated my 63rd birthday in November. The photo above is of my grandson Zayden and me playing Pieface. This new version has one hand that you can put whipped cream on and you need to push the button quickly enough so the other person gets the whipped cream in their face, not you. We had a lot of fun playing games and eating with the whole family.
