Hi everyone. Hope you had an Amazing week. This past week has been a busy week for us, but first of all we would like to send out prayers to our friends in Nashville, TN that were hit by the tornado. Lady Linda has many friends in Nashville and she was so glad to see on Facebook that her friends were safe.
Two of my podcast interviews are airing this week. The Be Awesome podcast with Dr. Kristina Hallett aired Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Also, my interview on the Heroes Like You podcast with Joe Belliston will be aired on Thursday, 3-5-2020. As soon as we have links we’ll let you know.

Now for this week’s story:
As you already know I was born essentially blind. Because of this I had the rare privilege to get to know people by sensing their spirits rather than seeing their physical form. This ability to sense people’s spirits is the reason I know for a fact that people are good. People are really good.
Back when I was that young boy, I asked my Higher Power – The Spirit World to give me a way that I could show people how amazing they are. It has taken many years, but I finally got my answer. However, it came in an extremely strange way.
My wife, Lady Linda and I have a house cleaning business. One day while I was cleaning an extremely bright room, I noticed a large spider in one of the corners. I apologize to anyone who is squeamish about spiders. I cleaned up the spider and then finished cleaning the room. I then went into the very next room which was a guest bedroom. This room was almost always kept dark. In this room I noticed a little spider. Well at heart, I am an inventor. Inventors want to know how everything works. Because of this we ask some of the most ridiculous questions you can imagine. When I saw the little spider in the dark room, I asked myself, “Why a big spider in a bright room and a little spider in a dark room”. After thinking about it, I realized that in the bright room the light draws lots of bugs. Lots of bugs means lots of food for the big spider and in the dark room the light draws very few bugs, but it is plenty of food for the little spider.
I then asked myself, “If there is enough food for the little spider in both rooms, why isn’t the little spider in both rooms”. The answer to this question is that the big spider could eat the little spider. I then asked myself, “Which spider was better? Is the big spider better than the little spider or is it the other way around?” After thinking about this question, I realized that if you switch the spider’s location, both spiders would die. The big spider wouldn’t have enough food and the little spider may be eaten by the big spider. So, neither spider is better than the other.
At that point a little voice, my higher power, said, “Great you got it! Now, I want you to write a book about it”. I consider my higher power my friend. I also figure if my friends here on earth can deal with me saying certain things, then my higher power certainly can. So, when my higher power told me to write a book I said, “Are You NUTS! You want me to write a book about a big spider and a little spider. OK, OK if you want me to write a book, I’ll write it”. I sat down and started to write. I didn’t even know what the book was about, but something wanted me to write so I was writing.
After five years of writing, the book I was writing turned out to be You’re Amazing and I’ll Prove It! I finally had a way to show each and every person on this planet that they are absolutely AMAZING! Although You’re Amazing has many stories and situations other than the spiders which show you (the reader) that they are amazing, at the end of the spiders the reader realizes that if a big spider and a little spider have their specific place on this planet then you know you do! You’re Amazing And I’ll Prove It!
