One exciting thing to tell you, our great-grandson turned two on June 1 and we are going to celebrate this weekend with the family.
Now for this week’s story:
Let’s pretend that you are the owner of a company that had 100 employees and for years you ran your business extremely well. However, little by little over the years your employees started slacking off. Although there are a few of your workers that are still doing good work, the vast majority of your workers’ work ethics are getting worse and worse. You tried getting rid of some of them and replacing them, but this didn’t help.
Then one day you arrive at work and your employees had split themselves into two groups of 50 employees each. Each group tells you that the problems your company is having is the fault of the other side. You’re sitting there looking at both groups who have not produced adequately for you. Now, the two sides are telling you that you have to pick one side over the other and that you have to pick a side right now.
The question is what do you do? As the boss do you pick one unproductive side over the other unproductive side? Do you get rid of all of them? Do you look at the productivity of each individual regardless of which side they are on and determine who you’re going to keep? Do you look at the individual employee’s integrity and the project they are working on?
Thank you for following my blog. I started it in 2019 and have been posting just about every Wednesday. To this point I have been pretty much writing what I wanted with no real direction. This is because I am interested in so many things, I don’t know where I should start.
It’s pretty simple, in order for you to understand who I am, and why I see something the way I see them, you have to know a few things about me.
So, here goes, you already know that I have the aptitudes of an inventor, this means I have to consider all sides and I have to have 100% accurate and complete information. I can’t invent any thing using false, inaccurate, or incomplete information. It also means I can’t decide on my own that something works and vice versa. If something works it works, if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. Period.
As an inventor I ask questions and I can only accept verifiable answers. I was raised Catholic and they gave me a lot of misinformation of which I did question. My questions led to me being punched in the head while they shouted at me, you believe what we’re telling you! You do not question!
I already told you my personality will not allow me to accept false, inaccurate, or unverifiable information. So, although I am an extremely spiritual person, the right wing (organized religion) was already off to a bad start in getting me to believe anything they were teaching.
The next thing you need to know about me is I love history. Especially the history of inventions. I love finding out why something was invented. What was going on in the inventor’s personal life, as well as what was going on in the world at large? In other words what happened that made an invention happen?
Also, because I am an inventor and amateur historian, I am not right wing or left wing. I can’t afford to stand on one side and not listen to the other side. What if the side I’m not listening to has the answer I need to invent something? Because of this I take each issue as it comes and on its’ own merit.
Because of all of this I know for a fact that we as a people are much closer to having the same opinion than we are apart.
I have been giving speeches, doing writings, and videos trying to unify people. I’m trying to show people how we are all the same and we need to stand together. However, I feel I have been falling short of my goal. So how do I show people we are more alike than different. One of the things that is dividing us is our political beliefs. Part of us will jump up and down screaming that the left wing (Democrats) is the wing of justice. Still others will jump up and down screaming the right wing (Republicans) is the wing of justice. So let’s take a look at the right wing and the left wing.
The best way to show you is by introducing you to the deeds of some people. First I want to introduce you to someone who cut taxes then implemented a national project and the economy and living standard of the people of the United States soared.
Next I want to introduce you to someone who told everyone if they follow them their lives would be better. They told everyone, I will do everything for you. The people followed them. They grabbed power and then started killing anyone they felt like killing.
Next week I will tell you who these people are as I continue the story of how as a people, we are much closer than you think.
