The other podcast, as we told you last week, is Heroes Like You with host Joe Belliston. Last week we told you that we didn’t have a date for this interview. Well now we have a date. The interview is set for November 8, but this one is not a live interview. After the interview we will ask Joe to let us know when it will be aired. Hopefully Joe will give us a link to the interview that we can put on this site.

This is a photo of my late wife Deb and my son, David, who is now 32.

A few weeks back I listed and thanked many of the people who have helped Linda and I with getting You’re Amazing to this point. Today I would like to thank two of our newest angels who are helping us with our latest challenges. Cheryl Schuman, who is a long-time friend, is currently making curtains for behind the timeline. We also want to thank the newest member of our team, Shane Brown, who is an incredible professional website designer and a wizard at social media marketing. The next sentence is for Shane – Hey Shane – I actually think I am starting to understand social media marketing!

This is our friend Jason Cohen with me at my first Barnes & Noble workshop in Kingston, NY on June 8, 2019.

This is a post of gratitude. We would like to thank everyone who has gotten us this far, starting with our awesome layout and design man Joe Tantillo who is also somewhat of a mentor and helped us with building our team, his wife Maura Shaw-Tantillo who helped in many different ways, Susan Uttendorfsky of Adirondack Editing – our brilliant editor, and our amazing illustrator Rich Molinelli. That is just the beginning of the people we need to thank. Matt Yerkes of Yerkes Photography and Dorothy Wills-Raftery, who is my wife’s long-time friend and an author and professional photographer, who helped us get started and have been in our corner since day one.

I have been told, as far back as I can remember, that crime (evil) pays and that good people always end up last. I know for a fact; goodness pays and crime (evil) leads to an extremely turbulent life.

A friend of mine relayed the following story involving her eleven-year-old daughter, Sarah (not her real name.) Sarah was one of a number of children who were selected to be an extra in a movie. Sarah was very excited. She wanted to look her best so she asked her mom (Rebecca – not her real name) if she could get her hair and nails done. Of course, her mom said yes. So off to the salon they went.

I don’t know how many of you remember Dr. Robert Schuller who had an evangelist television show called The Hour of Power. He had built his ministry up from nothing and had a cathedral that he built called the Crystal Cathedral because it was all glass. The story I am about to tell you is one that he told on his show years ago. The reason I’m telling it is because it shows that when life gets really rough, you can let it break you or you can embrace it and use it to accomplish great things.

My lady Linda (wife) and I are getting some much-needed rest and relaxation in the mountains of Massachusetts. We will be back to go full steam ahead next week. Some great possibilities are ahead. Keep us in your prayers.

As always we appreciate any comments and stories that you might have for us to share. Comment below or send us a message on the contact form of this website. See you next week!

August has been a wonderful month for us. We taught a class at the Kingston, NY Barnes & Noble on August 10th. We had 14 people and two young men that came to the class want to assist us with photography, video, and online work. We are thrilled for that assistance. We also met a group from the Sheldon Hill Residence at this class that invited us to their picnic. We really appreciate Savannah asking us to come back for a return engagement.
